Our school's Rebuild Team created an exciting action item the summer of 2023 to cultivate more positive relationships with our families, and between families, parishioners, and the greater community. This guided us to the decision to start up a new type of parent/guardian/community group. We decided to call this new group PIE, Partners in Education, because we know that if we are working together in a positive manner with parents, parishioners, business owners, and our staff, that our students, families, staff, and parish will thrive.
WHY get a slice of PIE?
PIE is committed to helping to build a dynamic school community that fosters fellowship and a positive school environment for all families.
PIE will play an active role in a child’s school which is important to each child’s success, but also to the school’s success. Being active is also a way to stay connected to what is going on at the school from student accomplishments to building issues.
PIE will help to make positive connections with other parents/guardians by assisting with the Classroom Parent initiative so homeroom families stay connected, get together off of our school campus and participate in activities such as bowling, dinner dates, movie nights, etc., which in turn creates more positive relationships at school.
PIE will allow you to work with our School Board to offer them suggestions, ideas, and support.
PIE will play a pivotal role in many important activities and events such as Catholic Schools Week, Spirit Days, Fall and Christmas Parades, fundraising, Staff Appreciation Week, Middle School Track & Field Day, Parent & School Partner Nights, and more! They will also contribute to classroom activities for the various educational programs including Art, Music, Library, PE, Science and Religion.
PIE will work hard to cultivate and nurture positive relationships with parents/guardians and school/parish staff, beacuse we know that enhancing the children’s learning environment is important. Supporting our staff is an aspect of achieving this goal.
PIE will help to positively promote our school in our school, parish, and greater community.
