Ms. Gruszynski completed her teacher certification from UW-Green Bay in 2017 and has spent the last two years teaching High School English in the Menominee Indian School District. She has taught RE here at Sacred Heart last year. She did her student teaching experience in Mexico and has attended a Guatemala mission trip. She wants to be able to share her faith with her students.
What are you MOST excited about with working at Sacred Heart Catholic Parish/School? I am excited to meet my new students and coworkers! I am looking forward to teaching/learning with them in a faith-based community.
How long have you been teaching? This will be my third year teaching.
What inspires the work you do? I love encouraging students to discover themselves...their hobbies, interests, values, etc. Seeing them learn and grow over the school year is very rewarding.
If you could pass any words of wisdom on to students/ youth, what would it be? Don’t be afraid to try something new.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time? I like to travel, play guitar, read, and bake. During the summer, I am always out hiking, boating, swimming, or fishing.
What is your favorite movie/TV show? I am obsessed with The Office. My three cats are all named after characters from the show.
What is your favorite food/meal? Tacos

What would other people be surprised to find out about you? I’m a vegetarian...but I’ll make an exception for Chick-fil-A!

Anything else you want prospective, new, or current families to know about you?
I am originally from Wausaukee, WI. I went to school in Texas, completed my student teaching in Cuernavaca, Mexico, and taught for two years at Menominee Indian High School. I am very excited to be a Cardinal, and I can’t wait for school to start!
