Hello, my name is Sarah Mente and I will be the Preschool teacher this school year! I have been the aide in the Preschool classroom at Sacred Heart the last two years and I am excited for the opportunity to be the lead teacher this year!  I look forward to another great school year where I get to help our students learn, feel seen, and deepen their relationship with Jesus!

 

I currently have an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education and I am one semester away from earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.  After I finish up my undergrad, I will likely pursue a masters degree in the hope to become a speech language pathologist.

 

A little more about me……. I love the outdoors! I can often be found going for walks, biking, kayaking, or doing various kinds of yard work. I enjoy reading numerous genres of books, baking, and listening to music. I enjoy traveling and experiencing different cultures, foods, and landscapes. Lastly, I value spending time with family and friends where I get to build relationships and make memories with the people closest to me.
