Hi, my name is Mary Rose Morse and I am excited to rejoin the middle school team at Sacred Heart Catholic School this fall.
I received my Bachelors of Science degree in elementary education from UW-Madison and have been teaching for 25 years, with the last 11 years at the middle school level. My career has always been in a Catholic school environment since I strongly believe in the importance of a Catholic education. I have taught in the Green Bay diocese and the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. Most recently, I instructed all subjects in a combined 6th/7th/8th grade classroom at St. Rose St. Mary’s School in Clintonville. Integrating faith into the classroom allows me to easily teach with the dignity of the child in mind, as I believe a student’s social-emotional development has a profound impact on their learning.
Personally, my husband and I live in Clintonville and have 4 adult children ranging in ages from 19-24; we are now empty nesters during the school year. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, being outdoors, and watching/playing sports, especially tennis and pickleball.
This summer I will be eagerly preparing for the new school year. I am looking forward to building new relationships at Sacred Heart to help grow, not only responsible individuals, but also disciples of Christ.
See you in August!
