Hello, my name is Brittany Burant. I am excited to join the Sacred Heart Faith Community Parish & School.
I am the new Lifelong Discipleship Coordinator. In this role I will be coordinating events, experiences and education of our faith in what we believe, how we worship, how we live, and how we pray. This will include the faith of children as well as adult faith formation opportunities, including RCIA the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, the process through which people enter the Catholic Church.
I grew up in the Stevens Point Area and was raised Catholic. I studied biology, chemistry and French at the UW - Eau Claire where I was a parishioner at the Newman Center. In my mid-20s I relocated to the Appleton Area for work and have since moved out to a peaceful property in the country where I remain today, just south of Fremont. I live between two churches and belong to the Ss. Peter & Paul Parish in Weyauwega where I worship, lector, and sing in the small choir and support the youth faith formation.
I recently completed a year of study and formation through the Ministry Leadership Institute at the Diocese and love continuously deepening my relationship with the Lord, our God through the sacraments, prayer, scripture, & worship.
I look forward to walking with you in our faith journey together. Until then, may the Lord bless you and keep you, let his face shine upon you, be gracious to you, look upon you and give you peace.
