Hello! My name is Ashley Kast and I am the new 4K para at Sacred Heart Catholic School. I grew up in a household where my mom ran an in-home daycare and I am a parent myself. I was a Certified Nursing Assistant for 13 years, 10 of those with the State of Wisconsin. I was lucky to have the opportunity to work with all different types of clientele. After starting a family of my own, I worked a variety of jobs; the last being at the public library where I really enjoyed serving the community of Shawano. This brought back my true passion: helping people.
I grew up in a small town near Madison and moved here 7 years ago. Joe, my husband of 5 years, and I live in the countryside with our two daughters Olivia Hazel and Hadlynn Ruth. We have an outdoor cat named Nolie and a huge English Mastiff named Toki. In my free time I enjoy reading, traveling, camping, and having dance parties with my girls. My in-laws all attended Sacred Heart with great experiences and our daughters are proudly continuing the tradition. I am looking forward to helping shape these little minds and seeing them grow as people through faith and their relationship with Jesus Christ. I am so grateful to the staff at Sacred Heart for providing me with this amazing opportunity and hope to meet more families from this wonderful part of the community!
