Our 4K program has a focus on the academic, emotional, social, and spiritual growth of each child, using a wide variety of activities to build a lifelong love of learning and of Jesus. Students are exposed to many basic concepts to prepare them for kindergarten and beyond, such as math, science, and literacy, various forms of literature, colors, shapes, with themes based on animals, transportation, nature, culture and many more.
Students participate in art, music, and physical education. They develop listening and language skills, large and small muscle coordination, and social skills. Spirituality is emphasized throughout the curriculum through prayer, songs, and religion class; bringing it all together in our Catholic Faith. They attend our All School Mass, Holy Days of Obligation, Holy Week Mass, and other faith-based school wide events and activities. It has always been our hope that all of our students will develop a positive self-image and confidence that will last for the rest of their lives.
He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.
